This Vegan Chocolate Cheese Cake Recipe is so easy to make it's not funny. All you need is a good food processor and 20 - 30 free minutes tops. I was first introduced to this wholesome, filling, nutritious & delicious recipe by Alessandra Alfredo, a Healthy Chef and Nutrition researcher a few years back, and since then I have prepared it many times for family and guests (quite often not mentioning the fact it is vegan nor the interesting, unusual ingredients it contains), as well as at retreats and cooking demonstrations. Enjoy!

KIS Israeli Hummus

April 15, 2020
Maya

Mmmmmm… Hummus… Growing up in Israel, practically eating this stuff from birth, you’d think I’d be over hummus by now. But, to be honest, I still, to this day, get hummus cravings on a regular basis. No wonder, as this popular Israeli dip is so delicious, nutritious, filling and extremely easy to prepare. Over in Israel and some other Middle Eastern countries, ‘Hummus Dip’ (or, as Israelis call it, ‘Hummus Salad’ or ‘Spread’) can quite often be eaten as a main meal, believe it or not, along with pita pocket bread, salad, and sometimes sauteed mushrooms or lightly roasted pine nuts or falafels.‍

Maya

Welcome to THE most satisfying, energy sustaining Dairy Free Breakfast smoothie you ever tasted! Those who haven’t tried having their breakfast replaced with a smoothie may be surprised at how filling this liquid breakfast can be. There’s no need to have a piece of toast on the side or a serve of egg or fruit – it’s all there for you – all of the macro-nutrients (protein, carbs, fats) you need alongside a variety of cell nourishing micro-nutrients (vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, phytochemicals) for an amazing start to your day which will sustain your energy and get you feeling awake and alive, ready to ‘go go go’ all morning. The other great thing about this deliciously nutritious smoothie is that it’s low reactive; it is completely dairy and wheat free, which will leave your tummy feeling satisfied but never bloated, uncomfortable or tender.
